Hi! I’m Allie

My journey into the health and wellness world began 5 years ago. After an endoscopy and blood test, I received news from my doctor that I had celiac disease. This news shocked me to my core. I ate a lot of gluten at the time and had absolutely no idea how or what to eat as a celiac. I began to research and educate myself about my disease. I attended IIN and became certified as a health coach to learn more about my body and what it needed, all on the side of my career as a preschool teacher. I learned more through the IIN program than I was expecting to and finally began to nourish my body with real, whole foods. In doing this, my quality of life changed completely and I was inspired to help others struggling with similar issues. By this point, I had turned my personal Instagram account into @healthyalibi and was sharing my passion about fitness, nutrition and wellness daily. My thinking about wellness also evolved. I realized that mental health plays just as large, if not the largest role in our health and well-being and it would be impossible for me to help my clients and followers reach their health and fitness goals without focusing first on their mindset and mentality.

My following on Instagram began to grow through my posts and beliefs and after years of juggling my two passions I eventually had to choose between careers. To me it was a no brainer (even though I miss my students every single day!) and I was fortunate enough to leave my career as a teacher to be a full time health coach and blogger and share my passions with the world and my clients. In July of 2019, my husband and I welcomed our baby boy, David Jack, into the world. Now I focus not only on wellness, fitness and nutrition, but also on the realities of motherhood and life as a postpartum mom.
