HOTELS:

RITZ GRAND CAYMANβ€” we stayed here. Great for families, the hotel is enormous lots to do but no functioning kids club for small children. 

THE KIMPTONβ€” smaller than the ritz and also great for families. 

PALM HEIGHTS β€” vibey, delicious food, small with a boutique feel, my pick for best hotel on the island, great for a couples getaway.

CAYMAN CONDOS β€” condominiums for rent right on the beach. Feels like you’re on a private beach and great value. 

 

RESTAURANTS:

Tilliesβ€” in the Palm heights hotel right on the beach great vibes great food

Yashinokiβ€” also in the Palm heights really delicious Japanese 

Lucaβ€” cute Italian located in the Caribbean club 

Casa 43– low key authentic Mexican food

Paradise pizza β€” pizza and shawarma located in the palm heights hotel great for kids sit in the back garden 

Ragazzi β€” like eating in a small Italian restaurant at home food is cute and yummy with the kids 

Morgans β€” seafood on the water 

Mykonos β€” Greek but all kinds of food good vibes 

Calypsoβ€” local Mediterranean nice outdoor seating 

Saint june β€” on the beach at the ritz great for lunch with the kids 

Sevenβ€” at the ritz 

Blueβ€” Mediterranean tasting menu at the ritz supposed to be amazing 

Andiamo β€” kid friendly Italian at the ritz on the bay. Every evening they feed the fish at 530pm the kids loved it 

Coccolobaβ€” at Kimpton hotel Mexican/Carribean mashup food

Avecitaβ€”also at Kimtpon woodfire tapas style

Tips & Tricks:

All of the hotels I’ve mentioned above are located on seven mile beach and you can walk to any restaurant on this strip on the actual beach. Once we realized this it changed the quality of our vacation being able to walk to and from dinner every night and we basically stuck to restaurants on the strip for that reason!

For the Kiddos:

The Ritz has a fish feeding at Andiamo restaurant every evening at 5:30pm. My kids LOVED it!

You can swim with dolphins in a day experience or go to stingray city. We did not do either on this trip however we have friends that did and loved it!
